Quick dinner at the Omega. Our server was nice and accommodating. The hostess was accommodating as well; my husband requested a different table, and there were plenty of tables available. Food was good, no complaints.

I have a thousand reasons spanning over 50 years and a few owns why Omega is my standard for American Diners from I judge all other diners. I've been eating here since the early 1970's with family, friends, and by myself. Many magical moments happened and throughout it all, the food, the staff, the atmosphere have always been like home. I decided to share this experience with my brother's best friend. Remember my brother passed on Labor Day. Since then his best friend I have been meeting every weekend for lunch or brunch in a number of spots he and my brother frequented, like The Great Neck Diner. Today I decided to go Greek. I got the Spinach Pie special with comes with a wonderful Greek salad and soup. Both were flavorful, Rich and had creamy sauce. Several hours later I can still taste the buttery blend. I finished with a recommended Neapolitan desert. Wow. I had to get directions how to approach it and it was amazing. If it's the Omega in new Hyde park or any Greek family diner, I strongly recommend exploring the family recipes the American Dine may offer.

I love the service here. Great diner one of my favorites on Long Island and its near the Queens border. No matter what time I come here the place is always packed. They omelettes are delicious. Their burgers are HUGE JUICY AND ALWAYS cooked to perfection. The deluxe platter includes fries lettuce tomato and a handful of the most amazing tasty onion rings on this planet PS i always order an extra side of onion rings TRUST ME THEY'RE THAT GOOD!!! also can't forget their in house made BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES OMG AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! so soft so fresh and so much flavor i like the fluffiness and freshness of the cookie like HEAVEN on earth so good. Highly recommend this diner. The ambiance is beautiful as soon as you walk in you're greeted by a huge colorful display of goodies just waiting to be eaten. Buon Appétit enjoy

A truly great diner. They tick all the boxes: Great Food. Staff that cares. Efficiency and dedication to handle huge crowds during various breakfast and lunch rush and never break a sweat. I'm a big fan of their Club sandwiches. Tuna and egg, add a slice of cheese and a side of Russian dressing. i wish they had COKE products but they have Pepsi. Thats fine. i'll just have an Arnold Palmer! Cheers!

Pretty decent diner. Seated immediately, served quickly. My Western Omelette tasted fine as did the home fries, but could have been hotter. My wife's egg salad sandwich was too chunky and was thicker than a human's mouth could open for admittance, but tasted pretty good. Consumed with a fork. Clean place with a large parking lot.

It was a hot humid weekend morning and we were very hungry. Decided to try another dinner out just for convenience and shorter distance from the usual Long Island establishment from our home. Someone mentioned Omega Dinner. It was close and we explored. Place was packed, got a parking spot when we arrived. Someone was pulling out. Didn't have to wait and got placed in a booth with a window view very nice. The server was friendly, coffee served quickly. The Java was excellent and order was taken and came back exactly what was requested. Was very satisfied and will definitely go again. Might have go a lot earlier for sure.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR EXCELLENT ASSISTANCE TO SET UP A LAST MINUTE BIRTHDAY DINNER LAST NIGHT . . . .06.18.24 Without the awesome assistance of their manager Vasilia, none of this would have happened. The Burgers were delicious the service and the singing were most appreciated ! ! ! See you all again soon . . . Thank you OMEGA Diner Jim & Cyna

The Omega Diner is definitely not an Italian restaurant, But I had the desire to try their chicken parm. I was not disappointed in any way. Yes whenever I order the chicken parm at an Italian place they have their special sauce but again this was a delicious alternative for the many burgers and eggs that I have eaten here. The chicken was very tender and left a mouth watering taste in my mouth. It's clear that I'm a Big fan of the Omega Diner but this time I was seriously going to post my true thoughts about this meal good or bad and luckily it was good.
